SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach click here Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to help the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
