False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These courses begin at NCV level two along with the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate read more with a pass in Arithmetic.
When the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling is not really always the only real method of becoming an artisan or getting to be capable so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is definitely perfectly suited for that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
